Sweet Home...Kentucky???

OUR NEW HOUSE!

Tybee says "what? this is my hotel, right?"

Tybee and her Daddy were so happy to be able to take naps together

This Castle is a hotel you pass on the way out to Keeneland

Well, on one last attempt to find a house before we no longer have a house to live in, Barbara, Tybee, and I headed up to Lexington. We left early Friday morning so that Clay and I could do some looking that evening just to narrow things down for our newest selection of houses to look at. So, with a twinkle in our eyes and confidence that "we will buy a house this weekend" we headed out with our realtor. We looked at a few that were fine, but didn't really tickle our fancy, and then we went back to one that we had seen before that Clay had been secretly visiting while I was away. After looking at it again, it was clear that it was "the one". So, we sat down, wrote a contract, and BAM! we had a weekend of exploring ahead of us! I am sure that our realtor was super happy that she didn't have to cart us around on another trail of disappointment, because MAN-she and Clay looked at a LOT of houses!
We spent the rest of the time in Lexington just enjoying it and figuring out where things were. It was really a beautiful weekend and it made us so excited to be moving there. Things should line up pretty good for us too, we are moving out of here at the end of April and will have just a week of homelessness until we close and move in on our new house! Thank the good Lord that we finally found something!
