We had a really fun Halloween this year. Tybee really got into choosing her costume- which meant we didn't have a decision until very close to Halloween! We decided on an Alice in Wonderland theme for the family- Tybee was Alice, Amelia was a Flamingo (those of you who know Alice in Wonderland know that the Queen of Hearts played croquet with a pink flamingo), Clay was the Mad Hatter, and I was the Queen of Hearts. So glad we finally made a decision! Tybee sat in her bed after we had kissed goodnight and said prayers and flipped through her costume magazines, guided by the light of her head-lamp. Too cute- but this did make her going to sleep time a lot later! She was very consumed by it!
On Halloween we had our very good buddy come trick or treat with us and then neighbors and friends over for chili and soup. It was a lot of fun for the girls! Such a fun holiday!
A little pumpkin carving with Amelia
This is what happens when Amelia is unhappy with the decisions those around her have made...
This is the face of one who doesn't care that she has made a decision her sister doesn't like...
Alice, smiling for candy corn (bribery at its finest)
My little mingo mingo
Trick or Treat time!!!
Millie loves Mandy, really.
Family costumes :)
They were just so sweet!
Amelia was in the zone- her zone. She didn't walk up to a lot of the doors, but she walked the streets like a champ!!! She was a funny little Flamingo- and all that mattered to her was the she was a FLAMINGO!
Stopping to check out her stash.
