We started our Thanksgiving extravaganza at our house. Clay prepared us a lovely meal- Turkey, roasted broccoli, macaroni and cheese, green beans, some Sister Schubert's rolls and topped that off with an apple pie!! What more can a girl ask for??? It was as delicious as it could be! We enjoy our family meals (especially when Daddy is the one cooking)!
Ready to eat eat eat!
Next, we headed to Thanksgiving at NaNee and Grandy's
We had a really great day. The brother-in-laws all went to play golf that morning and enjoyed getting out and being out of the way ;)
We were glad to have them back just in time for dinner- I even got to show Rachel how to make my Mimi's homemade chocolate pies.
Then Ricky got to it on dish duty- such a nice helper he is! As always, Mom and Dad put on a lovely meal for our family.
Sometimes we just smile and nod and them...
This was a very busy little girl!
Amelia loves her Uncle Lee and Aunt Rachel...despite what her face is saying.
It's better with Grandy.
My Family :)
This girl was TIRED! She went and got all of her bedtime things and snuggled up on the couch. She didn't want to miss anything, but she was so tired!
On to the Carver Family Thanksgiving..
The girls have lots of cousins to play with when we get together with the Carver side! They had a really good time playing and showing out a little for the family.
Coloring Cousins
Still haven't gotten past the eating crayons phase- hoping we're done with that soon...
All of the kids just love Landon, Amelia liked for him to play peek-a-boo with her.
We did manage to get one family picture! Yea!
Millie napping on Bobbi
Tybee sat and soaked in Toy Story movies all day with Aunt Katie
And last but not least, Morton Family Thanksgiving!
More cousin fun! Amelia took care of Tybee's left overs, we wouldn't want a good piece of fish to go to waste, not would we??? It was so cute, she just grabbed the fish up and took a big 'ol bite of it! Paw Paw Don was proud!
We are so thankful that we have so many stops to make to keep us busy! It is easy to get wrapped up in the "stress" of the holidays and forget how lucky you are to have so much to do! We wouldn't trade one of these family gatherings for the world!!! Thanks to all of our family members for tolerating us coming in and take over your world- beds, couches, kitchens, restrooms, etc... We are a wild bunch (especially when we bring our furry children). We appreciate all that you do to make our visits great! Thanks to each and every one of you!
