So, since it is Dr. Suess' birthday week, I decided to try out oobleck with the girls (and Clay). We did this about a million times one year in our methods classes at Alabama and the kids always love it. Although it can make quite a mess, it is a really easy clean up and just a couple of ingredients (cornstarch and water- mix to the consistency you like, add water if it dries out..). Unfortunately, I don't have the book that we always read to the students before this lesson- bummer. BUT- we still had a great time. Tybee "baked" several cakes and Amelia made a big ole mess.
