Clay had to work Saturday morning and we were all sad, but he was done around lunch time so we took advantage of the beautiful weather and headed to Panini Pete's. This is one of our very favorite places to eat in Fairhope. If you have never been there and are in the area, you must go...put it on your to do list. Contrary to her usually excellent restaurant behavior, Tybee was not happy with just snoozing in her seat. I had to stand up and hold her the whole time! It was like turning a light switch on and off, if I sat down, she cried. Thankfully Panini Pete's is very laid back. We had a table in the courtyard so it was no big thing.
When we finished our fantastic lunch, we headed for the pier. Lots of people had the same idea, nothing like a beautiful day to get people out and about. There was actually a wedding about to take place when we got there, glorious! I got the best picture of the bride and her dad before they walked down the stairs...if you know this girl, please tell her. The photographer was at the bottom of the stairs and it really stressed me out because on the top part of the park you can see the live oaks and the bay...hopefully he did some pics before. ANYWAY, the tulips were blooming and it was just lovely. Tybee also took a nice nap in her stroller as we walked around, so all was well. We feel so lucky to have lived in such a great place.
