Let's just call this August...

One thing is for sure, Kentucky August is not like Alabama August on humidity alone. This month we have been doing our very best to get some of the rooms in our house painted and finish up getting pictures on the walls. Clay had to go to Memphis for work last week, so we spent MY BIRTHDAY WEEK in Sweet Home, Alabama.

Tybee started her back yard swimming in a laundry basket...

She pulls up on EVERYTHING!

Daddy made Tybee some yummy French Toast! Too bad it was the week that the salmonella/egg thing happened...really worried me. But do not fret, the child is fine.

Finally, we got her a real pool so the poor thing didn't have to hang out in the basket :)

We kicked our week off with a birthday party! This is Lee, Curt, and Carrie Beth. Curt turned 1 and Carrie Beth did a great job with the party to celebrate!

This is Curt's birthday gift that all the babies had to play with. He was so nice to share and push his guests around in it.

We might have to get Tybee one for her birthday!

The next day we were off to T-town! This is Tybee with Miranda at Mugshots on her birthday (not mine). Lee and Landon grew up with Miranda and we have always gone to church together. She also goes to school at Alabama, Roll Tide!

Tybee got to do a lot of swimming at her Papa Dave and Bobbi's house. She spent most of her time on the steps with her bowl. This made her tired.

And what is a visit home without sitting under Woodrow and Sandra's pecan tree???
The weather was just lovely while we were there.
