Raven Run

This weekend Tybee did her first hike!  We started her off on a paved trail, but she was a trooper!  She walked the whole way and we didn't pick her up at all.  Her favorite thing was to pick up sticks along the way.  We really liked the place we went, it is a wildlife sanctuary and they have a lot of neat trails.  We plan to go back soon, it is pretty close to our house.  Amelia slept the whole time snuggled cozily in her stroller of course.  It was a nice way to enjoy some fresh fall air!

Looking for water in the dry creek

She was not opposed to stopping to take breaks.
They also have a nature center.  She really liked looking at the animals.
A little sister-love thrown in here...
Amelia is ready for a walk!
Tybee "The Fur Princess" told me she was ready to go night night and laid down at the bottom of the stairs.  She continues to entertain us.  She is very funny!  I have been so proud of how well she is talking lately.  She has started putting several words together now.  I love that we can talk to her and she understands.
Clay asked her the other day if Millie was a baby and she said, yes.  Then he said, "does Millie use a 'p'?" (p is what Tybee calls her paci)
Tybee said, "yes"
Then he said, "are you a baby?"  She said, "no."  Then he asked, "Then why do you use a p?"  She completely ignored him and looked the other way.  In fact any time we start that conversation she acts like we are not talking and looks the other way with her eyes.  The girl loves her p!

Hi :). Jumped over here from Priscilla B Photography's blog. You all should check out the Salato Wildlife Center in Frankfort. It's a great place for kids!
