We have been soaking up our days at home this summer, as these are our last here in Lexington with this as our home. This has been such a bittersweet few months. We are so happy for Daddy getting a great new job, being closer to family, and living in "sweet home Alabama" again. We are also incredibly sad to leave our wonderful friends, this awesome city, our fabulous neighborhood, and our life that God has blessed us with here the past four years. It is a true roller coaster!
Clay has been working in Alabama during the week and coming back to Lexington on the weekends, so it has been a HUGE adjustment for us already. Not to mention that our house is on the market and has to be ready to show all the time- now that is bananas friends! The girls sometimes walk through rooms with their hands in the air saying, "I'm not touching anything".
We will be happy to get back to a normal routine and all live together again, but the thought of our lives not including the people and places that we are so used to here is a little overwhelming sometimes. We have been so blessed by our friends here, who now feel more like family. We are doing our best to take it all in and be grateful for the good times we've had and the new memories that are yet to be!!
