Christmas in Dixie

Well, after our very smooth and speedy ride from Kentucky we arrived in Alabama just in time for Christmas at Maw Maw and Paw Paw Carver's house.
Amelia likes Maw Maw very much.
Tybee in a Santa hat- would not stand still.
 Tybee eating downstairs :)
Papa Dave's big surprise for Tybee and Amelia
After the girls went to bed the presents were handed out by Santa Clay...

Barb always gets a little box for Christmas... :)
Danny and Carryn with Miss Amelia at Mom's house.
Tybee and Anya played so well together.  They were very busy the whole time.  They loaded the presents up in bags and took them to one room, unloaded, loaded them back up, and started again.
Tybee was entertaining with her Barbie microphone.
 Clapping for Uncle Landon's song.
Lee and I think Landon's so weird.
 My little brothers
Clay spent a lot of time trying to break toys or hurt people with them.  It was the Christmas of fun.
Hijacking Landon's facebook
This is my, "its all good, everything's normal, hanging out on Christmas" face.
This is Lee's, "I better hurry up and write this before he realizes what we're doing" face.
This is Landon's "what are you guys doing?" face.
NaNee and Millie taking a nap.
Loving on her new doggie.
Back over to Bobbie and Papa Dave's to ride before our Christmas at Don and Carolyn's
She did a pretty good job with driving.  I thought it would scare her when she moved, but she just stayed really still and pushed the pedal.
Still not steering-or taking her foot off the gas...
Tybee with Koti
So mad all of these were blurry-urrrr
Tybee was a surprisingly fantastic Santa!  She kept going back to Clay to hand out more.  She would take it to them and say, "Here you go".  It was really cute and everyone got a kick out of her.

Overall, Christmas was really nice.  Even though we squeezed 5 Christmas gatherings into 36 hours, it was fun- and not nearly as stressful as you would think.  Everyone was glad to see the girls and to spend time with them.  We are so very blessed to have so many wonderful family members who work together to make Christmas happen, even though it is not always convenient for everyone.  We appreciate everyone for arranging their schedules so we could see them.  We are also so appreciative of all of the wonderful gifts everyone gave the sweet girls- they are set on toys!!!  Our house is a MESS!  There is certainly no reason to complain about being bored this winter- we have plenty to occupy our time!  Merry Christmas everyone!  And Happy New Year!  May 2012 bring all good things to everyone!!!
