Our pre-Easter activities were loads of fun. I tried to do a good job this year to teach Tybee why we celebrate Easter. She has a little book about the Easter story and we read it several nights before bedtime, and she likes to take it with her. She was very concerned about the part when Jesus had to go to the cross and his friends were sad. She made me re-read the page several times. She really likes the page when he has risen. There is an Angel standing with her arms open and Tybee holds her arms out too and says, "AHHHHH". It is really cute.
Moo after church Palm Sunday
We also spent our fair share of time before Easter coloring, hiding, and hunting eggs. Daddy did a good job hiding the eggs. Tybee would say, "Oh, look! Tag found one for me!" It was cute! She wanted us to follow her with the basket after a while when it started to fill up. She is good at delegating responsibility...
Tybee didn't quite get what we were doing with the eggs, she really just wanted to eat them after she put stickers on them.
Our final products
My doodle egg :)
We also got to go over to Ms. Mandy's house and hunt eggs with a buddy. Amelia had a good time watching.
We had a very nice time, and appreciated them letting us come enjoy the morning with them!
