Easter Morning: Hallelujah Christ Arose

Easter morning was really great.  The house had settled a bit, since it was just Mom, Dad and us.  We all started getting ready for church and when the girls woke up- we didn't remind him of the special visitor who had come the night before, we stuck them right in the bathtub.  Those little bunnies played an played, excited to get to use Mommy and Daddy's tub because there's was now the guest bath.  When everyone was dressed, someone said, "hey...wasn't the Easter bunny supposed to come last night...?"  You can guess where we were headed shortly after that!

We slipped downstairs and they dug in, "he came!!!"

They were pleased with their lute.

After church we got everyone lined up for one more family picture- looking good in our Easter duds if you ask me ;)

After many many snaps and, whoa, look at that- here's what we came out with.  Not bad.

And a few more of our little family

One of my favorite things about this Easter was that Tybee wore her cowgirl boots like a champ, without fail.  She was dedicated to them.  I respected her choices, although I think the white shoes and traditional loop hair bow (as opposed to the almost always present backwards headband) would have been a more subtle choice.  She's Tybee though.  And I hope that she always does whatever the Tybee thing do do would be.  She is such a good girl.

And LOVES her sister!
The feeling is definitely mutual...

Happy Easter everyone!
