Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2013

'Twas the night before Christmas and all in our house was glitter from reindeer food we'd scattered about!

Tybee's teachers sent home the perfect Christmas gift, reindeer food!!!
We sprinkled it all around the yard and then got ready for bed!  The girls did a GREAT job this Christmas season of memorizing the Christmas story on our advent calendar.  They got really good at it and could do most of it without being prompted!  It is my very favorite Christmas tradition, because it brings us all together quietly every night to remember what all the Christmas hoop-la is really all about.  JESUS.  So, Happy Birthday, Jesus!!  We are so glad it's Christmas!!!

We actually had to wake the girls up- I think they forgot it was Christmas.... I did not know that happened???  Clay and I were way excited to go see what Santa brought and all was quiet on the homefront!

But alas, they emerged....

The only think Miss Tybee asked for this year, a unicorn.

The only think Miss Amelia asked for this year, Breakfast Foods

Cozy with her favorite gift, her white kitty.

We had a lovely Christmas morning playing with toys, eating breakfast, watching a little Fern Gully (for those of you from the 80's-oh yea).  Then, we put on our Christmas duds and headed down to sweet home, thankful for a healthy, happy holiday season.
