I am learning to smock! Several weeks ago, a friend of my Mom's, Karen, taught Mom and I how to get started smocking. She gave me a pattern, some thread and a needle and I got to work! I messed up a little on following the pattern and it is by no means perfect, but it is a start! I hope that as I practice that I get better! Karen is a very good teacher and we are so greatful that she is SO PATIENT! Wish us luck and hope that I get better!
